The Celtics were convincing in the first two games and tonight's game will be the test of their strength because Washington Wizards are much better at home, and they just have to win this game. Once again the team from TD Garden came back after a substantial deficit they had during the Game 3. Isaiah Thomas was unstoppable, and he had a decent help from the bench. Meanwhile, the Wizards allowed over 120 points for the second time in this series, and they have some issues with their defense. The game played tonight will be a crucial one for them.
Isaiah Thomas scored 53 points, and his signature was all over this game. But that was not the main thing in our opinion why did the Celtics defeat Wizards. They're strong will to win once again proved as their primary weapon because they came back after double-digit deficit.
The key to their win was the bench, as they
have more depth than their opponents. When the Wizards energy is a low level,
Along with Thomas, Horford scored 15 points and had 12 rebounds, Jay Crowder and Avery Bradley both had 14 points apiece.
Once again the Wizards allowed 120 or more points, and it seems that they lack some strength on defense, especially in the second part of the game. As we already said they have a problem with depth of the team.
Brandon Jennings totally underachieved in this game, as well as Bojan Bogdanovic. These guys need to step up in order for the Wizards to win tonight.
One team cannot rely only on one man, and we are talking here about John Wall.
Without any doubt, we can see that he is among the three best point guards in the league, but he alone can't beat the Celtics.
-Isaiah Thomas
-Avery Bradley
-Jae Crowder
-Amir Johnson
-Al Horford
-John Wall
-Bradley Beal
-Otto Porter
-Markieff Morris
-Marcin Gortat
Prediction
We think that the Wizards are going to win
this one. To back up our claim we have to say that they are an entirely
different team when playing at Verizon center. You will see a tremendous change
in their attitude throughout the whole game. Also, Bradley Beal who was useless
during the most of the Game 2, can't repeat this twice, especially since, as we
said,
The handicap is -5.5 on the Wizards, and in our opinion, they will win a greater margin.
The proposed Over/Under limit is 218.5, and
for us, this is Under, because
Outcome:
Over/Under: 218.5 Under
